This week Romp n’ Roll is celebrating the Week of the Young Child which is a national, an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families. Today is Family Friday! A child’s family plays the biggest role in their learning. Children are a blank slate on 
which family writes their story. What kind of experiences are going to shape your child? All of us have those memories of the smallest things; things our parents didn’t intend to be life shaping moments, but they were. The best part is that those life shaping moments aren’t always planned – a random day at the park, family dinner at the kitchen table, or story time at night when their favorite book was read to them right before bed. (How many of you can recite Goodnight Moon by heart?) The truth is life is busy which is why it’s more important than ever to carve out family time.
